The candidate will work as a lab engineerand understand the standard networking of a lab. The candidate must have a good understanding of how hardware and software interact. The candidate needs to be both knowledgeable theoretically and hands-on. The candidate must be capable of assisting others with configuration questions, able to walk through packet captures, and able to assist others in operating Spirent Traffic/Threat Generators. The candidate also should be familiar with the following:
- Cisco Router and Switch Configuration (CCNP equivalent or better
- Juniper Router and Switch Configuration (JNCIP eq.)
- Microsoft Server Services (MCSE eq.)
- Linux Server Services (RHCE eq.)
- VMware
- KVM Switches
- 802.1D (STP)
- 802.1Q (VLANs)
- 802.1X (NAC)
- Ethernet
- ATM
- DHCP
- DNS
- E-Mail services
- S/MIME
- FTP/TFTP
- Sub netting of IPv4 address ranges
- Routing Protocols
This position requires a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
